Colorado quadrupled it's wolf population last week.

They made it down to Red Feather Lakes area last year, I think that's where one was killed by a lion. They will go where they please.

I'm just dying to see the news coverage of an elk getting eviscerated in front of a bunch of tourists in Estes or Aspen some day soon though...

This time of year ought to be quite the smorgasbord for the wolves as quite often , iirc, the beeves are dropping calves and the elk are not too far away hoping to commingle in the feeding grounds.

Kinda sucks that they went shopping in BC...we have PLENTY more to give away here in Oregon following that 2023 batch they took!
