COLLEGE Football Is Almost Upon Us

so do you think that the Pac12 is weak again this year? :) just razzin' ya from all our talk last year.

Not at all. I think the Big 12 is #5 and the PAC is #2. I think Oregon is the best team in the country.

#1 SEC
#2 PAC
#3 ACC
#4 B1G
#5 Big 12

The fact that Baylor could likely be the best team in the Big 12 this year tells you all you need to know. OU and OSU are good but I am not sure they are elite. Tech is doing well. The rest of the conference is a dumpster fire. KU, ISU, and WVU are among worst FBS teams in the country.

using stats from last year to compare to this year is distorting things. twisting is another word for it.

can't handle the truth? what, are you Jack now?

giving the CURRENT records is using facts. makes me look like I can look things up on the internet. just like you do. so if that makes me look bad, it does the same for you, right?

thanks for the info on those teams. too tired to look it up this morning when I got home from work. but you may want to edit your post. there are only 2 top 15 teams from the big 12 right now. not 4.

When there have only been a few conference games played it' impossible to have a conference record from this year that means anything. Thus last years record is used since it is t most recent information available.

I still have not seen any facts or information from you. Just a lot of telling me I am wrong, twisting facts, biased, etc...

You are right, I meant top 25. That is why I posted the top 25 rankings.

Someone must have Freudian Penus Envy....

No offense taken TLC...it is what it is---2-2---now we get a walkover then GA, SC and BAMA in a row....guess Wyo556 favorite team has a tuffer schedule....

bobbydean, UGA has to get by LSU to play Bama or someone in SEC Champs game.....SEC Champ could easily have two losses, in conference.....so would that mean they don't deserve a shot at Nat Champs????

I can assure you that nothing about the Vols impresses me at this point. The FB and BB teams are a dumpster fire. One of the worst run AD's in the country by a wide margin. With all the money, fan support, and facilities you have there is no reason to be a bottom dweller in the 2 major sports. At this point the Vols are known as a women's BB power much like UConn.

As I said earlier, we will play 3 ranked teams along with Miss St. Nothing special but not a cakewalk either. I wish Miss St would have been better but it appears they are a bottom of the SEC type of team with Kentucky, Tenn, and Mizery.

Not sure a 2 loss SEC team will get in a NC game. Also not sure a undefeated Louisville even deserves a shot at the NC. I'd like to see Oregon get in this year, they look really good MO.

Done. Just so you know, the first round is a liter of Crown. ;)

and just what are you going to be drinkin? TnT hasn't sent me my jar of shine, so guess I'll have to bring my bottle of single barrel with me. ole bastard probably still has the gallon jug sitting around from the first hawg hunt we did in Kentucky.:D

be in the mena Arkansas area the 4th thru the 11th hunting. bear, deer, and hog covered by the license there.

Wyo, just exactly when or where did I brag on VOLS or say they impressed me??? I just keep sucking it up and hope for a next year.....and who is your favorite team?????

TLC, that gallon has been long gone! I could arrange to send you a quart if you wish----you could not handle a gallon!

Do you guys actually ever talk football, like X's and O's or do you just bitch about the system.

You guys sound like a bunch of old ladies talking about the best way to clean your fine silverware when you never even eat off your fine silverware.

Here, let me help. What do you think the long term impacts of the up-tempo speed of offenses will be? As more and more teams adopt, 3 in the Pac-12 this year alone, do you think it is just a couple of years before defenses catch up and then it goes away? Or is it here to stay?

Guess you want to join the "old lady"conversation?

Until somebody starts winning championships with that offense it will just be a gimmick. Many teams in the Big 12 have been running it for a quite a while. It's fun to watch.

You talk about The Vols and Tenn tech all the time. Last ones I remember were about the Tenn vs Oregon game and TT vs Wisky game. I don't know much about TT but I do know the Vols have become a consistent doormat in the SEC. I thin it is funny that a fan of one of the worst teams in the conference gets on the SEC SEC SEC bandwagon. It's ok Kiffin is doing the same thing he did for Tenn at USC right now. Guy is like cancer to a FB program.

OSU cowboys and OU to some degree. I know about doormats, OSU was a doormat for decades in the Big 8/12. We have finally broken out an actually win more than we lose.

Well this conversation goes back to Curt
Dowdy waiting for the huge NE offensive front and defensive front to beat the heck outta Bama....even in the 4th quarter, he was waiting fot all those

Well this goes back to Curt Gowdy waiting for all those huge All-American Nebraska defensive and offensive linemen to wear down BAMA....poor ol Curt was still waiting for a comeback in 4th quarter.....how did that turn out-----seems like 35-0 but I have an old memory

WWSD on a crimson wristband....WhatWouldSabanDo

BTW, don't interrupt when Alphas are talking.:D ....a culinary implement allusion in a football thread???WTF...really?:D

Hey NHY! Seeing as how you are out resident wordsmith, I do not understand this sentence in one of TITs posts. "Someone must have Freudian Penus Envy...." What is it? I am just a hick from Idaho.

and the fightin illini roll to another win. 3-1. expecting a top ten ranking after that performance.:D

all down hill from here. doubt they will look very good in Lincoln next week. or any other the rest of the way.

Poor Lane, I feel so sorry for the @#%@*^&

What did WVA have their players eat between the MD and OSU game???
Vols have got a winning streak going----one in a row....will start a different streak this coming weekend.
All four of the "M"-boy QB's in the SEC had good weekends even tho one lost. Do we have a fifth "M"-boy coming on at UF ???
