The thing is most of them have a SSN whether it is theirs or not. They have to have it to work. It doesn't have to be a valid number just a number. Last time I renewed my licsense all that was required to prove residency was answering the question "How long have you lived in AZ"? Sort of the same with the background check as long as their not in the law dogs (no offence LEOs) book (data base) they can buy a fire arm. That on top of the thousands of private sales where there is no background check.

Just for giggles wyo-boyo; you ought to check out the percentage of birth services performed at the LA county hospital, last I heard, it was tettering around 85% .....takes a hell of a lot of 15 dollar fica payments to cover them. The illegals aren't leavin a trail of money behind them for us to gather, trust me on that.In the long run, they continue to cost us millions, even if they are performing the "work no one else wants to do", which, by the way, is a lot of horse shit too.

I can tell you that where I live in AZ
SS cards are so easy to buy and get ahold of.
I had a guy come in looking for work last week he was a friend of a guy that works for me. He had 3 SS cards and said to pick the one I wanted to use.. Yeah I showed him to the door.
Also in the mix of all this is they use about 3 to 4 different names..
One of the guys works at a golf course
nearby and his name is Nick and the same guy works at a small diner 3 nights a week and his name is Carlos..... So easy to sscards and drivers license in AZ..
So guess what big game tags nooooo problem..

Studies haven't been done to show the effects of border crossings on wildlife.
But biologists say constant foot traffic from illegal immigrants along trails keeps animals from frequenting their usual water sources. And in some cases jeopardizes their security by cutting them off from their home range.
Ingestion of trash left behind can kill wildlife. Biologists also worry about soil erosion and water contamination.
Experts say animals most at risk include deer, antelope and javelina.
Ecologically sensitive crossing points in Arizona are the Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge, the Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument and the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge.

Yes illegals do use SSN, and in fact I mentioned that first, seems like you guys are learning from me HAHAHAHA. They need them to get jobs. But you know what? The gov't and businesses just do not do anything with those SS #'s THEY CHECK THEM. Thats why illegals move around from job to job. Cuz a business gets fined 10,000 dollars for every illegal they have working for them. And they only way they catch them is because of SS numbers(or in cjcj's case, they look for hispanics driving 40,000 trucks). And whoever said they just use SS #'s to find "deadbeat" dads is a dumbass. THEY USE SS #'s TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE WHO YOU ARE.

Buzz there are no numbers [on how many]but there are millions of illegals that have "invaded" this country so if you consider the "sheer" numbers and the fact that all they need is 6mo. residency, then read what G&F has to say [Cfree post] and the fact that an estimated 800 thousand more come in each year, it just keeps getting worse and until the FEDS are willing to deport them big game tags will be the least of our worries. Formally IS spelled correctly, but is it the word you wanted to use? The way you used it would indicate that it is your "formal" or "proper" name. If you meant "previously" known as, then you need to use "formerly". I can't speculate as to your intended meaning...

I agree that illegal aliens should not be able to apply for/receive hunting licenses and tags. It's interesting that, even though they are here illegally, they would want to bring government attention to themselves by applying for tags or licenses. You're here illegally anyway, why wouldn't you just hunt what you wanted, without a license?

As I've stated before, I would agree to "legal" aliens getting hunting licenses - I have paid taxes in the US as long or longer than I paid taxes in Canada, where I moved here from. I've lived in Arizona for 6 years, am active in the community, a good citizen, etc. As a matter of fact, I vaguely remember providing my green card # when filling out my online application (maybe not). Of course, I was honest, and had indicated that I was not a US citizen....

As I have indicated on other boards, CJ - legal aliens may be some of your biggest allies - most I have met are resentful of those who circumvent the system.
