That's the plan. I've hunted unit 77 before with an OTC bull tag. Can anybody direct me toward some good areas in that general area?

Cush, I'd be glad to spend part of my hunting season hauling some Elk.......at least I'd know what it felt like.........as long as I don't have to take any pics of you in a bannana hammock.

Save me a spot, I love that country (and your enchilada's). I know a couple of guys that hunt it regularly for deer & elk and I'll start picking their brains.

Drew my first deer tag as well! Did elk OTC 2 years ago and now I'm focused on getting a good buck. Doesn't have to be a trophy, just a decent mature deer.

Another elk point for me. Looks like I'll have to figure out Plan C this year: OTC in CO or Idaho, or a leftover in Montana. Need to gas up the truck.

Congrats! Please share your notes w/ me after the season, I may put in for that ML or 1st Rifle tag next year.
Need to get out from under these points so I can pull a 1st season EE tag every other year or so.

I'll be happy to. One of the guys I'm going with from archerytalk has hunted there since 1985 and between archery and rifle and muzzleloader cow tags he said he hunts almost every year. It's 4 points to draw archery and bull rifle, though for a resident.
