I was at that very same point with my goat where I was feeling like I needed to shoot a ram.....any ram. Im super happy to be able to take what was an average ram for my unit. Even happier with the spot and stalk experience this guy provided. It was such a cool hunt.

What a great Hunting year! Congrats on a well rounded hunting season. Kids, critters and a once in a lifetime tag, some rough weather thrown in for good measure. Truly one to look back on and cherish. Kinda makes up for those years where nothin' went right. And even this year had its unfortunate moments but it all came out alright.

Not done with the stress. The FWP checkin gal just broke the plug while tapping it in. Only got it half way in. Furthermore, she estimated the age at 4.5 years old. What in the world?!?!?!

They think age = number of well defined rings. They will call the 3 or even the 4 year ring the first year
