You ain’t getting younger!I should try that sometime, not sure what I'm waiting on
I catch far more trolling from the end of May through August but it's just such a simple pleasure & more fun watching a slip bobber slowly disappear when they're first shallow in the spring.I SO want to catch some crappie.
Already looking, pretty sure I'll be in Florida between May and July next year. Have any tips or guides you recommend? You ain’t getting younger!
Just book an end of May trip, gonna be a long 13 month wait. Thanks for the inspirationAfter fishing down there I realized that as much fun as I had thrown rocks at grizzlies all day in Alaska it would have been way more fun spending 20 years fishing the keys. As many of them (guides) as there are, they get booked up pretty quick. I’m a Florida rookie but if you’re going to be fishing “The Keys” I would contact 7 Mile Fly Shop, they know their craft and their waters. They also have a house list of guides they refer to.
I’m not sure when we will go but I’ll fish with Spartina guide service again. Fairly new, four or five years working the area, but had Catherine and I on fish all day long.
