Catch All Fishing Thread

This grown-ass man was feeling like crying like a baby up until 2315 hours yesterday, finally managed to get my first Sea Trout (sea run brown trout) of the season after around 10 outings, it took a 3/4'' Teign Ghost Aluminium tube fly.
We are in drought conditions, no rain for around 6 weeks!

What method? I really need to get over there one day, awesome result, good teacher no doubt!
Their red/sockeye salmon. They don't really bite, maybe 1:10 will chase a fly. We're basically snagging them in the mouth as they swim. If hooked anywhere outside the mouth they must be released. Fly fishing only, hook gap limitation. It's not hard but lots of people struggle to catch fish too.

I have been out several times this summer, throwing power bait out into my favorite reservoir. I haven't caught a lot but have caught a few really nice trout. Biggest was just under 21 inches and yesterday I caught a 19" and a 18". Going to BBQ some trout tonight.

My wife and I also killed a few opening week, the fishing has been really good so far. We're going dip netting on Thursday, pending river levels. I've got 25lbs drying for the smoker right now. Making meats while the making is good! We eat fish 3x a week.

I think showing people they really could get them to bite was the most fun. The Naknek is gin clear, easy to see the fish and what they are doing. A sparse fly on a # 6 or #4 barbless hook against a fish 7 to 10 pounds was a lot of fun. My second summer not guiding and I’m having a bad case of the blues over that. Don’t leave them on the beach too long or you’ll have to start over

Do most of my fishing in May-June and it's been a tough year, only averaging 2-3 fish a trip. Record runoff wrecked my favorite lake, and just could not find a consistent Plan B. But I have managed to catch a few quality fish, just no quantities.

A few weeks ago, 25", 5.1 lb walleye.

Last week, 34-1/2", 12 pound tiger muskie, released. Lost another similar size, and fishing buddy caught 2, one at 14 pounds.

Yesterday at my normally #1 spot, 22"+ and 18" walleye, plus small channel cat.

Good work on the Tiger
Trying to figure out how to fit in a few days at that body of water.
