camp pics

A view from one of the stands we just hung over a field on our new property here in Northern Michigan (LP). And one of our Food Plot areas getting tilled up earlier this summer.

Tried something different on my last trip. Flew into the Yukon and my buddy forgot to pack the wall tent. We used three large tarps on his trailer. Worked pretty well with a stove with the only downside being the lack of a pitched roof considering the amount of rain and snow we got. Still prefer my wall tent but it 100% beat sleeping in my tipi for 10 days. Having that large enclosed space was nice to dry all our gear every night.

As a flatlander new to Western Hunting (don't hate me for joining in!) this thread has really helped me conceptualize my potential deer and elk camps. Enjoyed reading through it.
