Can Obama match this? haha

Dec 05, 2008

Frankfort, Ky. – Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Commission members voted today to raise the number of quota elk permits to 1,000 and proposed additional firearms season days for elk hunters for the 2009-10 season. Commission members at today’s quarterly meeting in Frankfort also proposed standardizing the muskellunge minimum size limit at Cave Run, Buckhorn and Green River lakes.

The Fish and Wildlife Commission recommends all hunting, fishing and boating regulations for approval by the General Assembly and approves all expenditures by the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources. All recommendations must be approved by legislators before they become law.

In wildlife-related business, the Commission voted to increase the number of quota elk hunting permits to 1,000 for the 2009-10 hunting season, up from 400 quota elk permits awarded in 2008-09.

There you go getting state resources mixed up with federal resources again. ;)

Hey - Jose blames Bush for the phases of the moon! (or anything else he can drag up.) If BUsh gets the blame for everything, he oughta get credit for everything.... ;)

That's a good point Calif.Hunter. In KY, there is the Daniel Boone National Forest. That's national resources and its elk habitat there for those elk. Its been part of Bush's responsibility alost since the beginning of elk restoration in the blue grass state. He's been president over more than 75% of the time the elk population has grown there.

Tom, name one bit of legislation the Bush administration pushed through to secure elk habitat. He's been president 75 % of the time the population has grown and had 0 to do with it. Thank the RMEF, and state officals that wanted elk there.

One great thing Bush did was get gas prices down! All we heard was how Bush and Cheney were involved in driving oil prices up but now that they have tanked not a word of thanks to W?

New sheriff in town soon, and oil speculators and oil barons are shitting down their legs guessing what that new sheriff would do about their gouging the last 8 years...thats why the price went down.

He funded the Daniel Boone National Forest in KY and the elk tags went up 2.5 fold. Obama is looking good there, eh? He should grow a mustache.

You think he can match Bush? We're about to find out, eh?

Tom, Rick, you guys are not up to speed on how to assign political blame and credit.
Here’s a refresher

If it was good, Bush had nothing to do with it, no matter what he did, someone else gets the credit.
If it was bad, it’s Bush’s fault. Period. Hurricanes, plane crash’s, bad sushi, it’s all Bush’s fault.

Carry on.
