Here is my biggest buck yet, even had my hunting partner with me. Didn't think I was going to go as I had to take her to a B-day party that evening. As we passed our hunting spot she wanted to go see some "deers". Of course I said yes and we got lucky, no trail camera pics at all, he scored 149 3/8 gross, 142 6/8 net. alaina deer.jpg

Here is last weeks trip, we shot two of the best cotton tails ever. I had a awesome season with my new hunting partner IMG_4464.jpg

dang some nice looking trophies.... but I think I was more comfortable not know what most of you looked like!!

2015 buck was a 3x2 with 2 inch eye guards, 2016 was a perfect 3x3 with no eye guards , 2015 was a thicker heavier horn , but 2016 buck had longer back tines and was a taller and wider spread, love them both don't have a favorite

Well, I see i'll only be brining the average down across the board but what the hell. All are from Montana, East and West of the Divide.

2007 Pronghorn.jpg
2007 Antelope, Browning A Bolt, 300 WSM (overkill I know but I had to try out the new rifle), 180 Yard shot. Not a giant but my biggest.

08 Mulie.jpg
2008 Mule Deer, Remington model 600 .243, jumped the buck just after splitting up with my Dad to walk a side coulee. 100 yard shot. Gross score right at 160

2010 Whitetail.jpg
September 8, 2010 Whitetail, Hunted this deer for two years before sealing the deal. 9 yard shot with a Hoyt. Buck grosses 151 and nets 148 2/8

2010 Bull Elk.jpg
September 19, 2010 Bull Elk, Spotted this bull from a mile out, he had a small herd of cows and was breeding one repeatedly, this guy was fired up! Snuck as close as I could into the sagebrush meadow and waited for "the cow" to come by. He followed and I shot him at 47 Yards. 310 gross, 307 net.

Missoula Folks will get a kick out of this one. Before Pattee Canyon was the recreation area it is today, folks used to hunt up there. Here's my Grandfather in 1961 with a real beauty of a Mule Deer!

I don't know what it is but the darker antlers from Blacktails and Roosevelt just seem more impressive.

I have killed a whole pile of antelope, all over the western states but my best comes from my home state of Cali....will probably only get to hunt them here once in my life. 2014 far northern California goat. Just under 80".

That's awesome Logan. Look at the neck on that thing.

I was cruising through the Montana record book and found the name of an older guy I knew. Non-Typical mule deer 230"- Missoula County. Next time I saw him I asked about it, and it turned out he shot it where the prospect subdivision is, within shooting distance of the RMEF headquarters.

Since this went around last time I've upgraded my mule deer-

And added moose and caribou-
