My son and I applied in the regular draw. I put in for a GEN tag and my son put in for a youth type 4 cow tag with zero points.

Planning on @Kiwi drawing and me being a pack mule for him and his son.
I'm going with just points, continue the point building and enter the Wy draw game in another year or two.

I did regular for my two boys with 6 points each and special for me with 4 points. Didn't put in as a group. With them both in college next Fall, 3 elk tags in Wyoming might be a little much.

In for a Type 6 cow tag, I’ll buy a point this summer to keep heading towards a general tag.

Special with 7. Pickins for higher quality tags (as compared to gen) are relatively slim at that level but if I draw I do think it will be worth it so long as I get a bull. But a fruitless hunt will really sting now.
