Fall 2005 leftover permits available August 8

PHOENIX—The Arizona Game and Fish Department is offering 193 general season deer permits, two limited opportunity general elk permits, and 33 archery elk permits available on a first-come, first-served basis on or after Aug. 8, 2005. These permits are left over after completion of the fall big game draw, for which 233,674 people applied. Results of the draw are available online.

Applications for leftover permits will only be accepted by U.S. Mail. Applications will not be accepted online or by telephone.
