How often does the mapbox imagery refresh? Going on 5 years in my area of MN
Right now, our imagery provider does not have a standard update cadence across all states. That is to say, some states are flown and updated more often than others. Minnesota, along with a few other states, have not received an update in a number years, and that is not acceptable to us. We are planning to update a significant number of states this year with imagery from a new imagery provider. The list of states to be updated this year has not been completely finalized, but we plan to update folks when aerial imagery is updated in the app.

Iowa is at least as bad.

Not really.a question, but if you select the Nwtf turkey sub species distribution option, it will make the color scheme of your display change to a.mustard color. It took a long time, and a couple of brains to figure out what happened to my display.

Just be aware.

I’m wondering when they ever plan on updating their satellite imagery. Going on about 7 years now. When I asked them they said they were working on it. That’s been 2 years ago.

Some imagery has been updated. I looked at my house and property the other day to measure something at the imagery was from last summer.

@onX Hunt, please just tell us the date the image is from on the image itself!!! Please.
We hear you. We've passed your feedback along to our product management folks and they do have it on the roadmap to include imagery dates in the App in the future. No ETA for when that will be live at this time, but it is something we plan to add into the app in the future.

@onX Hunt, can we get the max, min and average slope of a route or track added to the details tab for those items? Also can you add the instantaneous slope beside the mileage as you scroll across the elevation profile?

Excellent suggestions! We'll pass those along to the engineering team!

The rangefinder utilizes bluetooth, so you do not need cell service for the pin to show on your onX app. It works in offline mode, just like it does while online. It is relatively straightforward to pair your Leupold and onX Apps, and Leupold has some excellent tutorials on their website that can show you what you need to know.

Got the update on my Android to be able to use the app in my truck's in car screen. But the arrow indicating direction is jumping all over the place constantly. Was in my friend's truck and no such thing takes place on his truck's screen. He has an I phone

Any suggestions?

What’s up with the new land status transparency? Not a fan. Wasn’t broken.🤬

As long as I am bitching. Why does a faint two-track have the same symbology as a crowned and ditched county road? At least let me have an option to turn it off.
No kidding; I’ve looked at a bunch of stuff that’s not even a legal atv trail this week which the update would lead people to believe is a road open to full size travel.

There are a few different variables at play, so it is tough to troubleshoot here. Your best bet is probably going to be to give our customer support team a call so that they can troubleshoot this over the phone. Please give us a call at (406) 540-1600 when you have a chance.

Give the option to pick how many years back old fires show on the map. Onx backcountry is advertising near real time imagery for skiers and mountain climbers. Will this near real time imagery be available for onX hunt?

It is available right now to onX Hunt users with the Elite Membership. If you open your basemap selector button in the lower right hand corner of the map, you will see an option for "Recent Imagery." This is satellite imagery that is taken and updated every two weeks. Since it is updated more frequently, the tradeoff is that it is lower resolution than our standard imagery, but it is still useful for tracking snow levels, crop harvest, water levels, etc.

We'll pass along your recommendation about the old fires to our mapping team for them to take under consideration!
