Wisconsin archery, after the shot I thought I heard the deer go down .
A few minutes later I hear lots of antlers clashing and more brush breaking . Turns out this buck took a beating from a rival even with a arrow through the heart !

Wife heart shot him and that’s exactly how he died. Swear to god. That deer is stone dead.

I almost had her shoot him again and then I noticed that he wasnt breathing. Whole heart was gone….

10 yard maybe. He was on the green patch just above/behind him.
