Anyone hunting wolves?

Yeah, especially since I will be out of town for our anniversary, which is the 11th. Thinking I might be in the deep stuff if I even think about a morning wolf hunt, let alone actually make the ask.

Well, if i can be back by evening for dinner or something , i'm sure i can talk my wife into a day..... Keep me posted:) We could get Bart out there squeeling like a goat stuck in a fence, should bring a woofie in:)

I've been out ever weekend of the season but one.
Frustrated to say the least, having a hard time staying motivated.

Don't get discouraged, at least you're hunting eh? Looking forward to a chance to get out this weekend...:)

Shoots have you tried over the hill in the Bighole? The terrain is much easier and the wolves are there. You might have to go knock on a few doors but I doubt you'll get much resistance.

I have permission on 55,000 acres over in the hole. The game leaves out of the Hole for the most part. The wolves follow, and the Root and Salmon is where they go. There should be a few left in there. I'll check with the land owner to see if they are seeing any. It's deep snow this time of year. The Valley sits at 7,000 ft elevation. It would beat the hell out of trudging through snow and steep inclines that the West Fork has.
