That was a good read. It's funny how everyone justifies fair chase differently. Wouldn't pick up a rifle. But would hunt over bait. Not throwing shade either way.

Interesting that the landowner thought he was giving permission for retrieval rather than hunting. Seems like that should’ve been really clear from any phone conversation.
