I know money isn't everything but Im more jealous that this guy has the financial freedom that he has. No way your killing 80+ bulls over your lifetime and 3 of them in the top 5 if you don't have the time and the money...

Interesting that the landowner thought he was giving permission for retrieval rather than hunting. Seems like that should’ve been really clear from any phone conversation.
 
Few years ago we watched as bulls sat in the snow and starved to death.

I've got a real disgust for folks who bait, and ESPECIALLY into winter.

Pretty interesting, I read it and started thinking about how social media might of screwed the guy, then got to the end with the neighbor whose pissed, and "confusion" about hunting vs retrieval.

So to summarize, a new record bull(allegedly),shot under shady circumstances and over bait, replaces tge previous record shot after ten of thousands in finders fees and helicopter searches to kill it.
