Anybody getting AZ otc deer tags today

The website worked so well I was floored. It was smoothest tag buying I've ever been thru in my life. Take notes Idaho.

My group passed. Our area doesn’t have that high of a quota and with the dates we will be there seems a decent chance it could be closed. Last year it closed right in the middle of our hunt. The quota seems to have done a great job of really increasing hunting pressure. We used to see no one while we were javelina hunting, last year we saw multiple groups of deer hunters

I hate everything about the way Arizona changed the deer hunt and especially that they basically caused it to happen by marketing the hunt

That's exactly what we said when they switched this format. All they are doing is marketing it and making it stressful. I was especially worried this year because they did the sale at 8am instead of midnight. I figured it was gonna be flooded and crashing, but I think everyone was on the wrong site because it was smooth and then I went to login to my regular AZ account and it keeps crashing. So that is probably why it worked so good. The hardest part of the purchase was scrolling back to my birth year when I had to enter it. I had my tag in less than 30 seconds.

was not expecting it to be sold out in an hour. dammit. last year they still had tags available days later.

We got them so smoothly I was sure something was wrong. Now just have to hope the unit stays open.

Also went smoothly. Had my tag checked out before it hit 8:01. 400 tags had been sold before I got mine. A buddy of mine got his at 8:10, 1400 had been sold. Another tried at 8:24 and they were sold out....

It'll end up like Idaho OTC or Colorado's reissue list before long... lots of disappointed folks without a tag....
