Anybody Buying Yet? Where’s the Bottom?

Thinking about now… I think installment payments on fast food deliveries may finally drive old Dave into retirement.

n the early 1980s, the time to buy stocks was when inflation raged and the economy was in the tank. In short, bad news is an investor's best friend. It lets you buy a slice of America's future at a marked-down price.

As fear rages again, now is the time to "be greedy," in Buffett's words. The further stock prices slip, the greater those discounts will be. Loading up on these stocks at lower prices will not only save you money in the short term, but it can also set you up for significant gains when the market eventually recovers.

Well, I'd at least pay attention, sounds like the odds are better at some airports than others...

"Previously, investigators uncovered 15,214 “near miss events” between 2021 and 2024 where aircraft were within one nautical mile of each other, with a vertical separation of less than 400 feet. There were also 85 cases where aircraft were less than 1,500 feet apart, with a vertical separation of less than 200 feet, according to the NTSB."
