Gastro Gnome - Eat Better Wherever

Anybody Buying Yet? Where’s the Bottom?

This dude didn't pull any punches.........

"Nobody works. Nobody gives a damn. ‘Just give it to me. Send me money. I don’t want to work — I’m too lazy, I’m too fat, I’m too stupid,’” he says.
The guy is worth $5B, mostly gained by putting small mom-and-pop hardware stores out of business. And Americans have been fat, lazy, and stupid for decades. Dean Wormer pretty much nailed it the same year home Depot was founded.

It's a tie between my 2 least favorite stores on the planet. Lowes and home depot. Everytime I say never again! 3 years and counting.....

So if we reach minimal loss territory for spec stocks, is it prudent to cut loss & turtlehead back to pizzant earnings and accept the slow leak of FA fees & dismal IRA performance?

...asking for a close friend who never learns.

Currently in Hawaii and noticing everything is running on batteries. All lawn garden equipment, push mowers, riding movers, golf cart type vehicles and gator type vehicles for maintenance, hotel housekeeping carts.

The riding mowers for the golf courses was the biggest surprise, now to figure out what battery play is the best.
Interesting observation.

Same in Quebec. It's a declaration I'm American, as much as if I had an American flag waving in my front yard - simply using a gas powered lawnmower.

Everyone, and it really is everyone, on our block uses either battery mowers or electric cord operated... Except my Briggs & Stratton mower.

I try not to bullhorn our status - some aspects... Well, I like my mower as it is.

I would bet, even at 3yrs, you have interacted with the plebes at HD more than he has. But…I spent New Years week at a ski resort and definitely get where he could get that impression. 😉

A true YOLO’er would never type something like that.

We have newly elected member of the house that apparently has the same college credentials as Bluto Blutarsky. Crazy times.
Heck man, they’re simply advertising and leveraging for the same sweet deals the old furniture have appropriated.

The "87,000 IRS Agents" is Republican b.s.

There are 2,000 Special Agents and with the amount of white-collar fraud, we need more. Our SA's are overworked.
We have a bit under 10k "Agents" who audit the other 300 million US taxpayer individual, joint, and small business filings, every year.

The others are employees of the Agency from HR to seasonal phone assistance for the main tax season.

The funds sought are for for the next 10 years to offset retirement of the IRS workforce.

It's small potatoes when figuring how frequent criminals attempt to falsify even the simple 1040EZ.
The complexity of law firms working for big boy/girl Republican and Democrats to rip off all the law abiding Americans of their hard earned tax $ take detail oriented Special Agents to make stick extremely complex cases through tons of of b.s., drawn out litigation, etc all due to those R and D big $$$ law firms paid mass amounts to skirt America's cost to operate.

We can all argue whether the current tax code is junk or not though the IRS does not create the tax code. They are part of the executive branch. They enforce the BS legislative branch (Congress) to enact laws.

Want change? Get out of the trench R vs D, demand the gluttony of R and D take a hike, and vote in Quality Americans who actually give a damn. Not the continuous dopey American that says, well okay, that's who the R and D offer us to vote. Who's pile of dung stinks less?

Flip a coin.

Good Post!
I think it will be interesting because it is primarily from the Freedom Caucus and this first vote may indicate how much
or little power this small group has in the House.
