That’s the best cumulative week of hockey I can remember (well, since 1980, maybe). The NHL and the players deserve a lot of credit for this.

Rematch in Italy 12 months out

Great game. We were turning it over at our Blue line and top of the defensive zone way to much. Helleybuck bailed us out in the 3rd multiple times from sloppy play. It was only a matter of time, and leaving McDavid wide open in the slot, he's not gonna miss. Binnington came up huge on Mathews and Tkatchuk, unfortunately. . Now we have to wait 12 months for that excitement again!

Thought it was Matthews that just let him go--anyone heard any chatter about it? That said, both teams had to be tired. All the chances in O time kind of indicated that.

One of those games that in the end, IMO--Hockey won. Bet a lot of new fans were made!

Yes, but you know what I mean. The skill level and depth of all lines in that game no single NHL team can produce. Which is why the tournament brought in a lot of new hockey fans because it was exciting to watch that speed and pace. And the Olympics will be a great event as well hopefully

It was one of the best games of the year. I hate giving Gary Bettman any credit but this tournament was a huge success.

Great series of events! One win each - This one routed into sudden death OT. Both teams were max out full offense (less goalies), neither side wanting to bend into heavy defense. Epic goalie action/saves from both teams!
I believe the heavy offense led to faster action than setting up plays permitted on both sides (exceptions apply) However, the game winning puck - that was perfectly played and planned. That was not a random slap at the net to see who squabbles to get the puck in or goalie to cover... That was a dialed in shot to McDavid that made the game winning play.

Fantastic games! I believe it ended best for both countries as the Four Nation Tourney came to a close. Grats to the Canadians for the win! What a great game!
