Antelope...Lets See Them!!!

Some lope killin machines on this site. Here are a few archery antelope I have taken since 2006. All were spot and stalk except the last one which I decoyed in--that was a blast. Not sure how you guys insert text between multiple photos?

In order:
Colorado 2006, first archery antelope hunt. Had no idea what I was doing but put in enough stalks till it came together

Wyoming 2006, Red Desert, a couple weeks later, now that I was an expert

Colorado 2009, Same area as my first goat.

Wyoming 2009, Dinkshooter and I took 2 goats with decoys in 1 day and we were both within a few yards of each other for both lopes. Great times.

That's a pretty cool picture of your '07 buck.

Went on an antelope hunt when I was 12, and didn't get the chance to go until this last year.

First hunt with my brother.
Custer County, MT

Second hunt, two days later with my dad having the tag.
Beaverhead County, MT

Next year I'm going to finally cash in my 4 bonus points on a >95% draw area.

Captain hook the first year I found him.

Two years later I found him again. But this time I missed him at a mere 20 yards. Awwwww.....

I have a few more that I have on stills that I will need to find a scanner to upload.

Montana 2007 buck; my first antelope and an unfortunate face shot as he was licking his back at 420 yards.

Thanks. You're right. I think trying to clean it made it worse. It wasn't gory but I would've needed a gallon of water and a couple of rags to really clean him up and being as I was 5 miles from the pickup, it wasn't going to happen. I'd still do it all over again in a heartbeat, though I'd probably aim about 6 inches lower next time.

think i finally figured it out. Taken in NW Colorado near Craig this year. First antelope.

I know it is three does but this hunt was a blast! It doesn't look like that much but there was a good two feet of snow on the ground. These three were shot within 100 yards of each other. After pulling one well stuck truck out we retrived our goats and made it out. That's me in the middle,Steve on the left and Brent on the right.
