Gastro Gnome - Eat Better Wherever

Antelope...Lets See Them!!!

I get a lot of comments from people that they think this is the best pronghorn thread to ever hit the www. Not sure if that is the case, but figured I would post a few more bucks from this year to make sure it stays the best pronghorn thread on the web. Apologize for the duplication of these pics you may have seen on other posts.

Please post your pronghorn pics in this thread as you knock them over this fall. I have two more tags this fall and hope to add a few pictures from those hunts.

Here's an assortment of stud pronghorn bucks I've photographed in the last few months. Some of which are short-timers..
This one's good as dead.
hooks5.jpg

Blew a stalk on this one.. on video.. funny stuff.

Watched a buddy try a few times for this one with no luck.. he's a short-timer.
roadiefront.jpg

I flung an arrow over this one's back. I wasn't happy. He's dead meat.

This one could be in trouble if things don't work out for the one above..
prong1.jpg

somewhat heavy horned above the prong..

The only one on this post that won't gross 82 inches...

Greenhorn, some day you need to teach me how to judge big goats. I do pretty well 75-80, but above that....

I would have guessed two of the bucks above were over 82....

Since this is a photo thread, here's a photo...

Smallbuck.jpg

Can't tell scores from one angle on each, but I'd bet anything that all but 1 are 82+ gross..

Mass counts and roundish horns can be tricky.

Here's a frontal of that one with stunted prongs..
clubfront.jpg

Here's another view of the bedded buck that is a strong 15+ with serious mass..
roadieaway.jpg

Also, that one I flung an arrow at.. his horns are angled outward wide, V shape coming off the head. I've no frontal photos. His bottom mass is belled out and he's WAY taller than he looks because your seeing both horns tilted, the close one toward you the far one away from you. I'm guessing him at 16 1/4 length, 7 1/4 on both bottoms, 6 5/8 above, with a 6 inch prong. He's freaking BIG.

And the buck with stunted prongs.. prongs are still 5 inches - which ain't too shabby.. lot of round on that horn.

The bedded buck was actually one of them I thought would be 82. The short-pronged buck looks better from the front.

Here's a buck from my unit that I thought was much bigger until reviewing the photos. Awesome prongs, but that's about it.

Southern Wyoming 2008. Missing a couple inches from each prong. But more than big enough for my first goat.

Addict that 2009 is a hoss.

Here are 2 from this year that have been "educated" by the smell of my pee running down my leg. Both should be dead.

Damn, these recent posts by some of the new registered users have some great bucks. Glad I dug this thread out of the closet. Congrats on some great bucks, guys. I suspect posts on this thread will only get better starting in a week or two.
