I’m all about increased access, whether it’s public or private lands. In this case, it’s an podcast with American Prairie and their enrollment of 88,000 acres in Montana’s Block Management Program, along with allowing access across their deeded lands to any otherwise inaccessible lands.

Add to that, their approach to private land conservation, and I’m interested in what they are doing when the trends for hunters and wildlife are going the opposite direction.

In this episode I share a mic with two of their employees who are avid hunters, Mike and Paul. They explain AP’s approach to access and conservation. Enjoy.

Or download it wherever you get your podcasts.

Can you tell me who the main donator(s)/ founder(s) is? Who are the board members? Why did they take the page down showing the board members?

Form 990 will list that.
I keep meaning to to a dive into who they are and what the actual deal is with them. It seems like everything else and has enough politics involved you have ti do some work to have a actual opinion

I turned over a lot of obscure stones to find that hidden information in the time it took to type “American Prairie” into the search bar and navigate to the “About Us” page.
I just enjoyed the banner pic from your link. There used be a decent buck that spent his last hours in that frame. :D

And an old school cap to boot. haha

Not a good organization in my opinion. Simply a Black Rock land grab organization with nefarious long term intentions under the guise of open land and access for now.

Long term holding of that much land (goal is 3+ million acres) by a select few?? Horrible!
