Awesome hunt, what did you decide to do with the velvet and horns?

Unfortunately I just wasn't prepared for it. @winmag had some great advice and generous offers for me, but so much of it was coming off I would have had to dunk the antlers in tanning solution or freeze it, neither of which I could do with the time and space I had. I only do euros, so just having that done and I will go from there. I looked at fake velvet but I don't think I like the way it looks. Likely will just end up as a white hard antlered euro. Missed opportunity that I will learn from and be prepared for next time.
