Mice can be a PITA in the country in the winter.

My son and I watched a snow white weasel or ermine come in our house through a tiny gap in the door threshold. He looked us straight in the eyes and kept hunting. We never saw a mouse that whole year. Over the summer I fixed the gap.

Stinky buggers but the best mouser you have ever seen. He would cross over the back of my loading bench with a dead mouse while I was working, stopping to show me he was working for me. Then he would go eat that whole mouse somewhere, fur, guts, and all.
