There's a store in Jackson Hole called "mountain dandy", and it's built to attract just the tenderfoot you describe. The irony is not lost on me.Dicky V (Vitale) basketball color man (.......and major irritant to my ears) uses the term "diaper dandy" when talking about freshman players of exceeding quality.
On the ranch, Uncle Dutch would use the terms "dude" or "dandy" interchangeably when to referring to city-kids, perhaps much in the same way that our very own Dinkshooter uses the "eastern tenderfoots" term.
