In the ammo shortage of '21 I thought I was getting a good deal when I found a package of 7.62 on the shelf at a reasonable price! I brought these along with a box of .308 shells for my first sight-in session. Well, that didn't turn out very well. Started out with the 7.62 shell and found that I struggled to eject the shell!
I thought with all the reading on the internet (source of all truth) that I could use the 7.62 shells in my .308 as they were typically lower pressure and within the range of a .308 action....
Anyone else have experience using 7.62 in a Howa .308?
P.S. on the plus side, I was able to sight in with the box of .308 shells I brought along but I went through the whole box
