3. She is a great hiking partner
4. Her off switch works well
5. She runs to her crate whenever I say goodbye or good night.

1. She and the wife hate each other equally

2. She will only listen to one person, me.

3. If you pull in our drive in a vehichle or amazon truck She will jump in and be your new dog. If you walk up on foot she's gonna eat you for lunch .

4. I thought I loved hunting more than anyone/anything until I had a dog.

5. She's not the best retriever by a long shot but you'd be better off talking shit about my family than that dog.

He is a rescue dobie and weights a LOT.
Does not empty a food bowl every night. Drinks forever.
Loves eating grass and bunnies. BONES.
Can take up half a couch or loveseat and can roll up in the drivers seat as easy.
Velcro type that loves truck rides & knows the bad guys to bark at.IMG_0097 (1).JPG

1. My best plott. And would never consider any decent amount of money for him.20220716_110034.jpgScreenshot_20210920-154949_Video Player.jpg
2. Has became the hardest hunting hound I've had yet in the last year.
3.Treed my first and biggest bobcat.
4. Cold trailed a lion today with his sister that my buddy owns did extremely well was super proud of them.
5. Can't break him off skunks. Lol

I just pulled eleven stitches from my French Brittany's belly. She rolled on her back, legs in the air, to help out. Surgery was fifteen days ago to remove a tumor the size of a baseball inside her abdomen. Bad news came yesterday with biopsy report. It was cancer. Good news is we got it early, wasn't attached to any organs, and it's not usually an aggressive cancer. She left the hospital with a cone on but I took it off for the six hour drive home. Never put it on again. I told her to leave the incision alone and she did. Frisky as ever now.

Also I forgot

6. If she's not hunting I'm not hunting, no matter who calls with a good spot if there's no room for the dog I stay home. Only exception is if it's a dangerous situation with ice. Otherwise ill take her to shoot one bird before I'll go with a group to shoot a limit without her. Just my personal rule.

He missed the memo about labradoodles don’t shed

He managed to grow to the weight of his 2 45 parents added together

He, unlike my last lab, hates bourbon

If you’re having a day, he’s there to take your burdens

He prefers to be touching at least one of his people. 80BDDC18-8CD3-488E-807E-C7084B7D0223.jpeg80BDDC18-8CD3-488E-807E-C7084B7D0223.jpeg

He’s lazy.
His favorite thing is riding in the back of the truck.
He’s huge. 115 lbs.
Never starts a fight with other dogs, but will always finish one if provoked.
He was given to us and his previous owners raised him with cats. My wife swears he acts like one.

That is a good looking hound

My Lab Ellie

1. Also taught herself to point ... like a pointing dog.

2. Has to run around the vehicle three times barking her head off every time I let her out to hunt. Drives me nuts and just can't break her of it. Oh well.

3. Refuses to retreive a honker that falls on the field. Oh well.

4. Fine with retreiving honkers on the water ... or anything else land or water

5. Ellie has only lost a handful of birds over seven years. Her ability to mark downed birds is uncanny. She seems to have some kind of extra sense that helps her find downed pheasants in the thickest cover including six foot high cattails. Never seen anything like it.

Mine has a difficult time with honkers on dry ground as well...shell pick it up go twenty yards then drop it and look at me other times she'll run it into the blind.100mph...can't figure it out. Ducks on land no problem any bird on water...no problem not like she's small, shes a 75lb lab.
