308 Moses

When I lift the bolt with ease, literally pull it back brass pops out inspect it, primer cup is still round, no crater that is telling me what I’m wanting to know.
With the bigger magnum cartridges I have noticed the base junction show’s you pressure if it’s there really fast! I have been shooting the 300 Norma mag before going Moses. I was maxed out at 88gr of n570 with a 215 @3160fps, I could have dropped the load down but the node was there so I took advantage of it as most do.

case volume is consistent due to quality brass. I mean I’m not going to sit down and fill 100 cases with h20 and check the difference I do 20 and that will gives me enough info that I’m looking for, It shows aswell when the sd and es is numbers lots of guys are looking for.
Sorry about my crappy wording hahaha apologies

Yeah, it tells you that you are still somewhere south of 100K. Good brass in a good rifle won't show any indication whatsoever at 70K. Pressure testing doesn't guess or read tea leaves.
If your goal is 70K, then I guess that's fine. One reason I don't shoot other people reloads.

I’m curious how they handle mono’s?
I tested a few different badlands bullet before George the owner passed and they ran amazing. I currently run cutting edge in my 33 Moses and they shoot amazing. I'm also getting some hammer bullets for testing.

Working with Hammer to get bullets designed for the moses calibers. Currently have some 338s on the way and excited to see how they shoot.

132gr HHT in my 7 at 3200’
I’m also curious how the Hammers do will do in the 338 Moses so I bought a sample pack of the 190gr HHTs and sent them to Jeremiah to try in his 20” 338 Moses.

Yeah man, I'm excited for those to arrive.

There is nothing magic in the cartridge world. Body tapers, shoulder angles, capacity, freebore, yada yada. Someone coming along and telling you all about the magic shit they can sell you but cant lay out any basics of a cartridge design without an NDA is a pretty clear sign to run away IMO. Cant tell folks how far a shoulder is blown forward, what angle the shoulder is, h20 capacity, etc without an NDA?! Laffin! Very easily measured by anyone who sees one but do you make anyone who sees or handles one sign an NDA? Better not lose any brass at a match or the secret might get out! :ROFLMAO:

Those little baby dick case necks probably aren't long enough to touch more than 1 drive band on a hammer. Could see that being pretty wonky with getting bullets seated concentric.

Triggered much?? must be on that side...lol

Nah - hes pretty smart on here and this shit actually.

I am curious how/why the short necks arent a challenge. It seems like setting neck tension would be difficult to maintain consistency, as well as concentricity.

I've heard all of this non-sense before, but he's entitled to his opinion whether he's right or wrong. I will tell you I know for a fact he's wrong this time. It's all good, if you don't like it or believe in it just move along. No one is forcing you to buy these calibers!! You can continue to shoot lesser cartridges and that's fine.

Maybe a little bit by scrolling through pages of snake oil, super secret squirrel shit, and deflection.

What statement have I made that is demonstrably "wrong"?

Edit: I dont doubt that you get very high velocities out of these cases but the idea that you've found something magic by blowing shoulders further forward than anyone else wants to and created some secret throat you cant disclose comes off as snake oil.

Must be nice to be so sure of yourself. I’ve seen this song a couple times in the past 15 years with new technology improvements in the shooting space.
First with Rich and his line of Sherman Wildcats. Lots of naysayers and nonbelievers. His Wildcat brand has become very well-known and proven the last few years though.
Second was Steve and the outrageous claims he made about his Hammer Bullets.
I bought my first Sherman wildcat in 2013. My 6.5 Sherman was the 4th or 5th one built. I also tried out the 7SS and 270SS options over the years. They all did exactly what he claimed.
I bought the Hammers on a whim cuz I had a 257 Weatherby Mark V that wouldn’t shoot the Bergers for shit and before listing the POS, decided to spend the $50 and try a batch of the 92gr Hammers. Not only did they group spectacularly, the groups tightened up the faster I pushed them 🤯
Now, along comes Jeremiah with his Moses stuff a couple years ago and I again decide to put my money where my mouth is and had a 7mm Moses built. I’m no comp shooter, but I do enjoy guns and hunting. My 7 walks all over my buddy’s 280AI shooting the same bullet with less recoil and less powder. My gun is also 2lbs lighter than his.
There’s more to these Moses rounds than meets the eye. There’s mad scientist vibes. It’s actual rocket science! Just because it’s not explainable to the average shooter doesn’t mean it’s snake oil or some newest greatest gimmick.
Everything is learning 😉
