Exactly why I went with 7mm. Versatility, flat shooting and plenty of knockdown power. Though I like the 325 wsm, ammo availability shut the door on it for me. A lot of folks swear by the .270 but I personally felt it was a little light for elk hunting. I am happy with my decision.
