Not to put the Single 6 down but they load through a side gate I believe. A swing out cylinder is a bit more condusive to plinking because it dumps empties and reloads a bit faster. Similarly, a break action revolver (think Scofield) will also be pretty convenient. With that in mind, I bought a Harrington and Richardson 999 Sportsman. It is a 9-shot break action. Cool looking pistol.New handgun day. I don't know what I was expecting but the 22/45 is a substantial pistol. As Rooster Cogburn would say, it fills the hand.
