Not to put the Single 6 down but they load through a side gate I believe. A swing out cylinder is a bit more condusive to plinking because it dumps empties and reloads a bit faster. Similarly, a break action revolver (think Scofield) will also be pretty convenient. With that in mind, I bought a Harrington and Richardson 999 Sportsman. It is a 9-shot break action.
