2025 NM draw results

I expected @Valley1320 to post some fake draw results Tuesday but I guess he's busy. Who's getting excited to draw a tag? Or for you pessimist who's ready for some rejection? I know we're all excited for some fish stocking reports.

Either my son or I should draw a deer tag. Put in 3rd choice for a unit with 43% draw odds so hopefully at least one of us will draw that.

Everything else is pretty much a lottery ticket.

I’ve hunted all three of my deer choices, and I sort of regret my 2nd and 3rd choices. I’m not sure I actually want to hunt either of those choices this fall.

Really? I've always done a paper tag but would've made the same assumption.

I assumed it did (says "harvested" in app), went to file app and it informed me I didn't do it... had cell reception entire hunt so back to paper for me.

We move to ID soon. Couldn't ethically put in as a resident, and there was no way to put in as an NR. Guess I will go with OTC tags once we get to ID.

I’ve only had oryx shot off a Texas ranch by a friend, but it was delicious. Kind of in between elk and beef.

I called FWP here in MT with a similar quandary years ago. I was told that if I applied and bought my hunting license as a resident then I was still considered one for the rest of the year even if I’d moved. Not sure it’s unethical at all.

Not that this does you any good now.
