Draw odds for Antelope are updated on the site. Looks like the unit I drew went up about 1.5 points. I definitely drew random.

The area I applied for went up 2 whole points. That's crazy I'll never catch point creep. Might as well throw in the towel and find another state to apply in.

My typical unit that I have previously hunted a bunch for Antelope dropped over a point in the special and went up by over a point in the regular. The change in the random odds are extremely different compared to last year. Looks like the special antelope cost did have a big impact this draw.

I see that I didn’t actually catch my pronghorn tag in the preference point draw. I drew the only available random tag in the special draw. Got lucky.

If you are talking about the random draw that is the effect of all these data services that allow you to quickly see which unit had the best random odds. Lemmings see that and all swarm to that unit the next year thinking the odds will be the same but no such luck as they just end up in a pile of lemmings.

I noticed a few swings like that in the deer draw too. Guessing it was a lot more common with lower point units, haven’t combed through the higher point units for trends yet.

Surprised to draw a pronghorn tag with zero points. Random odds were 2%. Wasn’t expected but makes a nice addition to my Gen W tag. Thanks WY!

After seeing the draw statistics I’m feeling pretty good about my approach. I burned 10 points in a unit that people with 9 points had a 62.5% to draw. I was the lowest guaranteed applicant in the regular draw.
