I had a couple grizz encounters last week. Definitely still out in force. There's never enough time when I get out there! Spent a total of 20 days out there hunting this year between archery and rifle. Managed 1 elk and 2 deer for our team of 2. I long for one more week out there, I know we could punch that last elk tag!
Great to hear you're giving the unlimiteds a shot. We hunted the absaroka range for a few days when rifle hunting. Bumped into more sheep than we did elk as a matter of a fact! Would be unit 501 for sheep.
