Some forum etiquette, since such seems to be lacking around here lately. These are nothing different than what you agreed to when you signed up.

--> Post something that contributes to the topic at hand. If not, don't post. It's that simple.

--> Treat every person with respect, the same as if you were sitting in the same room with them.

--> This is a forum to share information. Sharing means that we have people who are wanting your knowledge and experience, and at times, your opinions. Share it in a manner that is respectful and helpful.

I wasn't trying for it. I was trying to let people know it was there so they could try for it.

Congratulations on your tag you got!

The rule with leftover tags is light fight club.
Thus the minor grief you got from Seeth, @Fred Rogers

By posting the details of a 30 point reissue tag on a public forum that is google indexed, that post very possibly put another couple hundred (maybe more) people in competition for those tags with folks that were already going to attempt to grab one.

Hate the game, not the player...

PS - I didn’t get the tag so I’m headed down to the La Garitas tomorrow as per original plan :)

For some reason I scheduled my dentist appt for 10:30am. However, upon reflection maybe it was less misery then attempting to get a reissued deer tag.
