2024 College Football šŸˆ Season starts tomorrowā€¦. Yee Yee

BYU and ISU are the only ones ranked at the end of the year. BSU beat UNLV 2 times, both times ranked and ranked at the end of the season. So, thats a wash. Otherwise their win over WSU would count. Each have 2 wins on ranked opponents. IMO, they should go off of losses at that point, and BSU has arguably the best loss of the season from any team. If 11 wins were guaranteed in a group of 5, would all the teams have 11 wins? I don't like that argument, personally. They still play good teams. Swept the leftovers from the pac 12 too. If Clemson keeps it up, it won't matter, they'll both get a bye.

The 12 team playoff was suppose to give non power teams some love, but you get crap like a 3 loss Alabama, who lost to several teams .500 teams, over a 12-1 CC like Army. They deserve the money from those big games. The big conferences get all the money, recruits, NIL, and then pretty much grandfathered into the playoffs. Sucks for the small guys. Jeanty won't win the heisman because of the bureaucracy of it. Dude will probably break Barry Sanders record and lift his team to the playoffs.

I'm sure I biased to my team, but I don't like the direction of College football. I think they should hold off the transfer portal until after season as well.
Iā€™ll root against Boise until they get rid of the dumb blue turf ;)

I went to a pretty sweet strip club across the street from the Vikings dome. They have a pretty nice setup there. I was in town for work a few years back and couldn't get tickets for a Thursday night game. Got to check it out from a distance, though.

I texted my son and I got second one and they didnā€™t run it. Are you kidding me? What the hell, thank you.
Allen and Singleton had like 225 yards between em at that point and you throw deep in that situation. Good grief!
We had no answer on defense tho for Johnson. Good game atleast. Congrats!

Penn St really gave Oregon fits yesterday on D , with how both teams had played some of the best defense in the country coming into this game ,I wasnā€™t expecting a wild shootout of a game like it was . 44 is a Beast !
The difference was our QB , Gabriel is a cool customer, canā€™t believe Oklahoma just let him walk last year

If Penn St ends up a 5 seed , we will see you in a few weeks in the semi finals ā€¦. Ugh ā€¦. Not looking forward to a rematch

The Lions went up against the best team that Nike can buy with $23 million and were still in it despite the worst officiating I've ever witnessed in a college game let alone a championship game. I'd say the ducks were spotted at least 10 by the referees, if you guys feel good about that win, congrats I guess.
I'm never THAT guy, but the lack of calls on Oregon was literally unbelievable.
The 2 ints were a killer, but when at least a half dozen egregious penalties aren't called, well I have the words but not for a public internet forum.
The Lions have nothing to be ashamed of, and I doubt anyone in the bracket wants to come see a hornets nest in Happy Valley in 2 weeks.
Rant over

Boise State was looking strong the other day and would like another shot at Oregon. That would be a good one!

Clemson crashing the playoff. :ROFLMAO:

No transfers.
No upfront NIL $.
Best graduation rate in Power 5.

Dabo does it his way, gotta give him that.

They're not going to win another national title doing it that way, but it's interesting all the same...

Iā€™m hoping this keeps Bama out of the party ! SMU shouldnā€™t get left out losing on a last second field goal , We will find out at 10

Where did u get the number on the 23 mil ? I thought the Bucknuts spent the most on NIL this season at 20 mil ,
I just hadnā€™t heard the ducks šŸ¦† went over them on NIL

Yeah if SMU gets left out after that, teams will have to decide in the future is it better to compete for a conference championship game or in the playoffs....starters getting rested, tanking games etc. etc.

But I certainly won't be surprised if they get left out all the same

I think Oregon would win by a bigger margin in a rematch, because in the first game Oregon had 2 starters out on O line , and Boise got 4 sacks in the first 2 qtr , Oregon put in a different center after the half and didnā€™t give up a sack the rest of the game ,

The offensive line issues Oregon had in that game ,Oregon doesnā€™t have now and that allowed Boise to have some extra possessions in that first half and build that 20-14 lead at the half

In the first 6 qtrs of football this year against Idaho and Boise State, Oregon gave up 7 sacks in 6 qtrs of football. When Oregon changed the center out at the halftime of the Boise game, Boise didnā€™t get an sack in the second half and Oregon has went on to only allow 6 sacks the rest of the season in the last 11 1/2 games.

Thatā€™s why I think Oregon would win the rematch more comfortably. Oregons O line is fixed
