The big boar hit today at noon. Nice to know he’s in the area but he’s tricky. Hit at 230, noon and 10pm. Hard to hunt a bear that Doenst hit at normal bear hunting times and work prevents me from sitting every afternoon the wind is right. 12 days of season left and everytime the wind is right I’ll be sitting for him. Maybe I can bribe him with a bu ch of extra beavers in that barrel

Pretty sure he was the big black one I have been chasing since laying eyes on him on June 13. Hard to lift his head up even!!!

7 minutes before end of shooting life i heard branches cracking and trees shaking caught glimpse of black and thought it was a moose at first. Marched right into the bait and stopped and no judgment was needed coukd see he was big!! And the rest is history

Trying spring bear for the first time the last weekend in April. Probably mid fork boise area. Plan on just camping high up on a ridge and glassing the hell out of the area.
