2016 was a good year on the public lands out west

Rather than post up recaps about each hunt, I will just share a few photos. These hunts took place in Montana, Utah, Wyoming, and North Dakota and were all DIY public land. My final hunt took place in -20 degree weather with 20 inches of snow spot and stalk with a bow on the last day of archery season. I only bow hunted deer 1 day in 2016 and feel fortunate to have taken an old warrior with almost zero teeth and scars all over his face. Coldest day I've ever been out hunting. Fun hunt but miserable conditions. As usual, some great memories were made with my Dad and some great friends. AND... my freezers are full for another year I can't wait to see what's in store for 2017! Good luck to all in the upcoming draws this spring!
