Usually snow by third, but nf is at all different elevations, higher you go more snow you'll have. It's a 9 day season, hard to lose a whole hunt. The snow increases effort for sure. I'd pretty much cross out access roughly above 11k ft without a sled, tracked wheeler or hard hike.
Without more...
I had figured also trespassing, but they don't clearly say trespassing or not with crossing two fences.
My opinion of course. But under 2k a hunter. Nothing to scoff at sure, but that's the price I've paid for private land hunting access and never had a chance at 54 ducks.
I am curious how a...
Thats not much fine for over twice the limit.
Here's where I'm disappointed. If they had cut down any tree it would be a bigger fine. Ive worked with foresters who come up with huge values for illegally cut down trees saying the cost of damage comes from original cost+age+shade value+what it...
Feel like that's all on the individual... Advantage to me of 2nd is often it's the first rifle season in the unit and deer will be where I scouted them.
2nd takes less points normally and I can then repeatedly draw the tag faster.
Quality stats is subjective to me. I'd rather have these 2 first...
I played with it this week too. 🗑 couldn't filter out private and public land tags in co, couldn't figure out random odds in wyo.
For co I actually find cpw excel sheets more intuitive.
I hope they fix it soon, at the moment it's embarrassing and disconnected with the user of them to release...
Looks like the body armor has alot of potassium which is very useful. Powered has much less potassium but more sodium. I prefer liquid iv for the potassium and sodium, but that's anecdotal to my personal performance.
For electrolyte drink the general consensus is to look for potassium, sodium...
I say go do it. My first solo bull elk success was up in that country on a first season rifle hunt. Only 2 miles in the way the crow flies, but over 4 hiking, lots of down trees. There's plenty of cool temperature holes around there to chill meat. Took a few days to get the meat out in 4 trips...
Just decided?... just checking have you done the mandatory bow hunting alaska course? I thought about bringing it last year but opted against it when I learned about the class requirements.
I've always used tactical red dots and swear by them. When I use scopes without illumination I just feel unnatural like something is missing.
I find the red dot on rifle scopes helps me with faster target acquisition and tracking. But in hunting shouldn't really be worried about target tracking
If someone offered me bloody meat and a good time I'd accept. But it would probably be hoping it was related to hunting and hoping they saw a good animal after their harvest!

ic3 and ftc are best places to report fraud. But don't expect anything out of it other than being another data point.
Best luck would be to chase after whatever you paid through
Thanks, that atleast that has more data points than others I've found. I'm in co and understanding the smoke is coming from the pnw. Had hoped it would clear now and then.
Find myself right now wishing I knew where was what since my sheep tag is in one area of state and other tags are completely...
Does anyone have any recommended apps or websites they go to that accurately describe visibility for the on the ground hunter (glassing)?
Wish they'd have it on the big hunting apps. Really impacts my scouting efforts when visibility is poor. Hard to ID at a couple miles. Been out looking for...
I had to get a replacement a couple years ago, cost maybe $10, took only a few minutes at their Broadway hq. Lost the tag on an elk leg in transit and needed it for processor.
