Thanks for the info everyone. I took a look at Omaha city ordinances and it is not legal in city parks, which is what I wanted to try. I also looked at the Ralston ordinances just south of me, and did not see anything against it. I may give it a shot!
Looking for any insight on where someone might be able shoot their bow, or even if it is legal to shoot within city limits here in Omaha. The closest range to me takes 20-40 minutes each way depending on traffic, and I am typically off late anyways. Not to mention, it is $10/hour, which can...
Sorry Fellas, I have been swamped the past few days and have barely had time to get my own workouts in; let alone get onto the forums.
To answer this simply, it is very subjective. I used to be very comfortable with squats and could max out at 400+. These days, I dont tend to get anywhere...
I stayed pretty busy yesterday, so I didn't have a chance to get online, but yesterday was a cardio day for me. 10 minutes at a high rate on the stair master, 5k run, and then 10 more minutes on the stairs.

Just checked it out and I like it a lot. Not sure I would pay for it, though as you can get the same info on the USDA site with a little bit of digging (at least for MT). If they included roads that are open/closed on BLM then I would do it in a heartbeat. Still a nice tool to have.

Today was right at an hour not including warm-up. Typically, my strength based days are an hour to an hour and a half because that's about all that I can fit into my schedule. If I can do some cardio on top of it during the day then great but it doesn't always work out that way (I also know...
A little bit about myself for anyone who is following along with the workouts...I have quite a few limitations for someone my age. First off, you won't see me doing any heavy deadlift exercises, which is one of the best full body exercises out there, due due a bulging disc in my low back from a...
Good luck. Buddy of mine went up for the entire rifle season this year covering 10+ miles a day and saw one buck bigger than a spike. Not saying you can't find a good buck in there or that he hunted it like I would've; but if you are driving that far, I can think of a lot of other places to...

Absolutely. Also, whenever you are doing a weighted leg exercise, (squats, lunges, split squat, etc..) keep the weight on the front side of your body vs. on your back or hanging at your side. This will engage your core a lot more than you think.
If you are looking for a killer ab challenge to end your workouts with, look up the "Bring Sally Up Ab Challenge" I do this one with a lot of my groups and it is awesome. Other than that, pick three exercises to do three to five rounds of every day (ie. Bicycles, Forearm Plank, and In and Out...

The problem around here is that everywhere I have found, you have to pay to get in. My favorite so far has been the Hitchcock Nature Center across the river in Iowa. I don't mind Mahoney either but it gets expensive if you're out there often.
