At the moment my best powders are what I can find and group/ chono with good SD. Getting sub moa to 200 yards and decent velocity on my .308 IMR 4895. The .223 likes IMR4320.
Often times there’s other crap on my pack so I use a cover for the the string / cams and use my Montana bow sling. I love that combo. The brush is so dang thick in some spots I hunt and my strings get torn up quick if I don’t cover them.
Hello y’all. I drew a September archery deer tag in NM unit 22. I generally have some spots picked out and and plan to hunt the pinyon juniper country. I don’t think I’ll stick to water much as I had a good lesson last year chasing a buck that took a week to relocate.

Been stuck working overseas past 7 weeks. Working out and keeping a good calorie deficit I’ve dropped 8 lbs since I’ve been here. Had a good leg workout today.
I’ve hunted adjacent 53 archery last year. There were saw some bulls glassing up high on the edges of 53/54, but wasn’t able to close the distance. It would had been a 10+ mile pack out if I did kill, so yeah horses would be handy.
I don’t know much of Fords, Chevys, or Dodges. They change so fast.
For me the midsize truck fits my needs. Yes they usually have a tighter steering radius, but from my experience the Tacoma is the tightest turning. I’ve tried out a newer Colorado and drove my fathers Frontier a good...
