Thank you for this. I’ve been on ExpertVoice for some time and tired of everything I want being out of stock and never back in stock. Been waiting over a year for one item to be restocked.
I’ll try Guidefitter and see if I have better luck with them.
I am in the market for a Browning Hells Canyon speed in 7mm Mag but it needs to be Left Handed.
would also consider a 300 Win Mag if I can’t find the 7mm Mag.
Never forget being at Carson 2 days and getting the call we had a moose in the motor pool. No clue how it got in there.
Our apartment was up near the broadmoor and you’d trip over the mule deer going to do laundry at night.
But the thing I miss most about Colorado Springs is Monica’s fish...
Walk to work (1.9 miles each way) carry 30lbs worth of tools for work in a pack.
Run (M-W-F) up to 4 miles as of today
Strength Train (Tu-Th-S)
Stretch/Rest on Sunday
Like you I had these questions before my first hunt last year.
I bought a pair of knee pads from a hardware store. Just go with ones that Velcro or snap. Don’t have to be very fancy. Gloves I didn’t wear. Won’t be wearing any this year either.
While I did crawl over some small cactus last year...
Tag I drew with second choice last year was 65% first choice with zero points this year. Split my 1 point with a buddy who had none and thankfully that was enough to get us tags.
It’ll be points for the foreseeable future for Wyoming Antelope. Ready to switch gears and chase elk.
My vitals are 8” non insulated. I originally bought them for archery elk and bow hunting whitetails but now I also use them for spring turkey and this will be second year they made the trip to Wyoming for Antelope.
I wore a pair of Merrell hiking boots last year. This year I’ll be wearing my Danner Vitals. Had the vitals along last year but the Antelope didn’t give me time to change shoes. 😉
Can get pretty sloppy with any rain or snow so mucks probably wouldn’t be horrible to have along just in case.
Growing up in a small town in Wisconsin with very few black people, I was surrounded by people who always talked down about minorities.
It was after joining the military and spending the majority of my time with those minorities I really learned how racist this country really is.
Feel bad...
I use this. At just over 2lbs I’ve been happy with it.

I started walking to work a few weeks ago, it’s 1.9 miles one way. I also started getting up at 5 and either run 2 miles (M,W,F)or do some sort of home workout (T,TH,S). Debating getting a gym membership and going after work since I walk past it on the way home.
I’m 42 and I started all this...
Fortunate to have a job I enjoy. Live in a sportsman’s paradise. Lucky enough to have the vacation time and money to go on a hunting trip every year. Blessed to have a family who tolerated me spending so much time outdoors.
As someone who was in the pest control Industry let me say this.
Doing a mouse exclusion is way more profitable than poison/trapping. So I’ll disagree with you on saying it’s a money maker.
Reality is it’s laziness. Excluding mice is very much possible but it is very time consuming and until...
