All,
So, I thought I knew the Wyoming system pretty well, but apparently I was a bit self delusional. I applied and received a Type 1 Tag for Unit 7 as my first choice. I also applied for 2 doe tags. I guess I was under the assumption that if I drew doe tags, it would be for the same unit I...
That is certainly a big part of it. I plan on keeping iron sights on it as long as my eyes can still hit pie plate at 100 yards.
Thanks all for the advice. I'm definitely going to bring it along. need to finds some time to try out that ammo as well. Only shot Rem Core-Lokt so far.
So I was lucky enough to draw one buck and 2 doe tags for Wyoming pronghorn this year. It got me thinking (never a good idea), I have yet to take big game with my Marline 30-30 lever action 336 Stainless. I was wondering if anyone here has taken a open sight, lever action gun out hunting for...

We did our entire Wyoming hunt, including driving time from Minnesota, in 4 days last year. If you have access to public land, and there are pronghorn in the neighborhood, you shouldn't have a problem.
For heart. Slice into strips removing interior veins and passageways. Dust lightly in flour seasoned in salt pepper. cook quick and hot in butter or preferably Bacon fat and garlic...... some of my best memories from childhood all the way up till this Christmas, so pushing thirty years has been...
That's a great story. We need to continue to highlight how private land owners contribute to the publics resource, especially out here in the "east" like my home state of Minnesota. Most of the land is private, so most of the wildlife resides there as well. Continued incentives for private...
Social Distortion does Johnny Cash. This punk band has been around for over 30 years and I finally get to see them play in St. Paul next month.
My wife and I walked into this song at our wedding.

Just a heads up. If you didn't apply this year, but want to keep building points, they can now be purchased through the Wyoming Game and Fish Website.
