    I think @Dave N was eluding to getting an elk out of that kind of situation being that far in. Don’t over think it; wilderness areas hold plenty of elk and are not as recreated / pressured as you might think.

    There is no way that goes through (I hope). I work too hard to have my tax dollars handed over to people who shouldn’t have been illegally crossing the border in the first place. Putting your family in that situation and getting awarded that kind of sum sets the wrong precedent.
