Rings for my new VX-5
I ended up going with a set of Talley low profile extended rings since my local shop had them in stock. Since it is a 30mm tube the extended low rings fit perfectly. Got everything torqued, lapped, and sighted in. It’s a tack driver. Thank you everyone for the advice and recommendations.- RedRaider13

I just picked up a new Leupold VX-5 3-15x44 and plan to install it on my Remington 700 Sendero 7mm Mag. Im trying to decide on bases and rings. Hunter orange??
During firearm season, even if not required, I would wear an orange hat, and if I were packing out an animal I would put on as much orange as I could come up with, maybe keep on of those cheap orange vests in your pack for the pack out.- RedRaider13

How do you carry your ammo?
I put 3 cartridges in the rifle magazine, 2 in side pocket of bino harness, and a handful in a internal pocket of my pack. Has starved me well so far.- RedRaider13
