1st post here, been following this board awhile.

3 of us have been putting in for the Rita Blanca grasslands in the Texas panhandle, figuring we’d draw in the next 10-20 years. Well a pleasant surprise when we won the draw after 3 years of applying! This was a first antelope hope for 2 of us, We hunted Sunday and planned for a couple days to hunt. After checking out a good chunk of the area and looking at great amount of bucks, we found some Sunday afternoon in an area that stood out from everything else. All 3 of us tagged out over the next couple hours that afternoon. It was an amazing and fun hunt just getting to look at hundreds of antelope! The agents at the check station rough scored them at 74,75, and 78”.

Hope the pics work?

Nice job and nice bucks. That area is flat as a pancake in spots. Looks like range conditions were pretty good too.

Thanks! Yes it’s definitely flat, we had a 15mph wind, was a nice day. All the shots were in the 400 yard range.

Congratulations I've been putting in for that tag for a few years now one day hopefully.

Congrats on some nice animals. I am at 15 points on them right now, so you did good getting drawn.

Congrats on your harvest! I've been applying for that hunt for years. Hopefully I'll get lucky someday.
