New Mexico Oryx Bull

Well done and nice write-up! It is some of the easiest eating meat and it was a sad day in my household when the last bit was gone after my success on a similar depredation hunt. Every year I roll the 2% dice to try again but nada.

What did you shoot it with?

Really nice bull, and awesome work on the skull! You boil and peroxide it, or some other type of whitener? Any tricks on keeping the nasal bones intact?
 
I cleaned the skull with the cold water maceration technique. I’ve had good results as long as the water is warm, this one took about 2 weeks with only 1 water change.
