Well done and nice write-up! It is some of the easiest eating meat and it was a sad day in my household when the last bit was gone after my success on a similar depredation hunt. Every year I roll the 2% dice to try again but nada.

The meat is great, very mild. Seems to be very tender for a mature bull. Probably gonna be rationing steaks to make them last.

I cleaned the skull with the cold water maceration technique. I’ve had good results as long as the water is warm, this one took about 2 weeks with only 1 water change.
